Bright Faces Stage Company has been running since 2003, and every September we take a production to Vancouver, Canada, which is followed up by a home run in Cambridge.
While in Vancouver we run theatre-in-education (TIE) workshops for Canadian students and schoolkids to promote the benefits of draam and an awareness of British theatre. As such we're Cambridge's first 'Theatre-in-Education'
oriented society, and we're looking for people who will be able to continue working in this vein (though previous experience of it is not required!!) We also hope to broaden the experience of Cambridge students hoping to begin a career in the theatre, or who are just ardent thesps!
Could this be you?
We're looking for people to be on committee who are interested in theatre both abroad and in Cambridge, and in working as part of a Cambridge-based team which can help get our 2005 show on the road! There's scope for a wide variety of roles and commitments and new ideas are always welcome.
