What to know more about pyrotechnics in theatre? Excited by the idea of using fireworks on stage? This is your chance to find out about rigging different types of pyros from stage flashes to Maroons - and what they look and sound like! The workshop will be run by John Kendall, who has professionally organised fireworks both in theatre and for May Balls. We'll cover different types of effects and how to create them safely - as well as creating plenty of satisfying explosions.

The workshop will cost £2 for club members and £3 for non-club members. Booking is not required. It will be held at the ADC Theatre on Park Street. Come round to the yard (to the right of the main entrance) and go up the black fire escape at the back and through the door to the stage.
