Anglia Ruskin Theatre Society is holding a stage combat workshop this evening at Covent Garden Drama Studio, off Mill Road.

The workshop will cover both the purpouse and safe practice of stage combat. But more importantly introduce you to basic stage combat techniques and show you a couple of tricks you can use in your on stage fights.

The workshop is held by Simon Bell, who, in addition to beeing a freelance director which has devised and directed over fifty productions, is a qualified stage combat instructor. He recently directed for the Cambridge Shakespeare Festival and has been responsible for some of the combat displays at the Globe Theatre, Southwark.
