In this workshop we will explore the fundamentals of Clowning, through games and exercises designed to help us fail and fail big!

This workshop is perfect for people who want to explore a new approach to performing, change up their comedy routine or find new ways to connect with audiences. For Comedians, Actors or anyone interested in finding their funny.

All are welcome!

Ollie West is a Clown. Comedian. Actor. And graduate of Ecole Philippe Gaulier.

He has taught Clown for the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain & The Centre for Artistic Development – Calgary, for which he was their Artist in Residence for 2022.

1/3 of Award Nominated Clown Troupe Big Zeus Energy, Winner of The Blackout at Up The Creek and recipient of ACE Funding for Research into Theatre and Live Comedy.

Ollie has performed locally and internationally for Soho Theatre, The Pleasance, Brighton Komedia, Objectively Funny, SALT – Oslo and CAD Canada. He’s performed in the West End, at Festivals and can be seen on numerous BBC Three Shorts.
