π₯ INFERNO: AN IMMERSIVE THEATRE DESCENT THROUGH HELL π₯
What does sin mean to you? Step into a darkly surreal, funny, and unsettlingly introspective reimagining of Dante's Inferno. A fully immersive experience blending live performance, shadow projections, aerial dance, masks and an interactive audio journey.
Guided by fools, philosophers, and the Ferryman himself, you'll navigate the circles of Hell, uncovering stories, secrets, and reflections on morality, shame, and historical accountability.
At the heart of the experience lies a confrontation with Cambridge's legacy of slavery - asking questions about our reckoning with the past and a reflection on the sins we inherit and those we create.
Create your own mask, leave your mark on origami reflections, and watch them burn
in the final ritual.
IMPORTANT: Audio-Guided Sections
Several parts of the experience will include audio guides, accessible via QR codes on your phone. We strongly recommend bringing your own headphones to fully engage with the immersive soundscapes and storytelling elements.
Accessibility:
The experience takes place both indoors and outdoors, with some areas featuring steps, uneven ground, and gravel pathways. We are committed to making the event as accessible as possibleβif you have any accessibility requirements, please contact bl554@cam.ac.uk, and we can arrange adjustments with the Head Porter, including wheelchair access where needed.
