Michaelmas Week 4
The Loner keeps taking photographs of strangers.
In his bedroom on the top floor of a block of flats, he's got stacks of photographs. The girl opposite thinks he's a serial killer, but then she's just drunk anyway. She's just drunk and it seems her boyfriend has been rendezvousing in the elevator with the woman upstairs. Perhaps.
And then Kate moves in with Sarah. They don't know each other all that well but they have their own flat and it's going to be a Girls' Gang Hut. It's going to be fun...
'Peepshow' is an explosive and intrusive piece of theatre, originally devised by the groundbreaking physical theatre company, 'Frantic Assembly'. With an originally composed soundtrack that pumps life into human veins, 'Peepshow' comes to Cambridge with fresh verve and spontaneity. Can we trust what we see through windows? Can we trust what we hear through closed doors? The actors become the audience, and the audience become the voyeurs. Peeping.
