This short and bittersweet work is often credited as being the oldest surviving English opera. The beautiful surroundings and the stunning acoustics are sure to lend poignancy to the music in this one off opportunity to see Blow’s work performed in Queens’. The performance features some of Cambridge's finest talent; both singers and musicias in this traditional rendition of Venus and Adonis which will be semi-staged and semi-dramatised in Queen's college Chapel. Entry will be £3 and £2 for concessions - pay on the door.
