Lent Week 4
A double header of spectacular improv from near and far. Cambridge's own Stealing The Show: The Improvised Heist Comedy will take the stage with world class improv Sci-Fi from Project2. It's a night not to be missed!
First half: Stealing The Show
A criminal, comedy caper built from your suggestions! With your help, Stealing The Show will commit a hilarious heist complete with intrigue, car chases and ham-fisted thievery. What will we steal? How will we steal it? It's all up to you!
Second half: Project2
Project2 are Katy Schutte, Chris Mead and Fred Deakin and they make improvised science fiction.
Katy and Chris create and play the characters, dialogue and story.
Fred makes the soundtrack.
Each performance is utterly unique and could fall into any of the endless sub-genres that make up the multiverse-spanning superstructure of the science fiction genre.
Stealing The Show: Shortlisted for Improv Troupe of the Year 2019, Phoenix Remix
Project2 teach and perform throughout Europe, with a residency at the Hoopla Comedy Club in London.
Amongst other things, Katy is Co-artistic Director of award-winning improvisation company The Maydays, Chris is co-artistic director of The Nursery Theatre and Fred is half of the Mercury and Brit nominated band Lemon Jelly.
