The New Arcadians is Sidney Sussex's drama society. The society takes its name from the college's link to the Renaissance poet Sir Philip Sidney and his famous work 'The Arcadia'. Recently rejuvenated for a new generation, the New Arcadians welcome talent from across Cambridge to take part in a variety of shows and events. From sketches, to musical theatre performances, to full-length plays, The New Arcadians turn their hand to anything, offering enjoyment to those involved as well as those watching. Above all they bring the friendly flavour of Sidney Sussex to Cambridge drama.
