Self Tapes for The Unnatural Tragedy & Other Plays by Margaret Cavendish

Off-stage rape, domestic violence, murder, blood.

The Unnatural Tragedy, a 17th century play by Margaret Cavendish (author of The Blazing World and The Convent of Pleasure), is now accepting self tapes! From the creators of The Duchess of Malfi in Lent 2024, we're putting on The Unnatural Tragedy in Sidney Sussex (either the Chapel or the formal hall, still in conversation). This is going to be another grand performance of a Stuart-era play in a beautiful setting! And now, we want YOUR self tapes!
