Negotiating With The Dead is looking for an actor to play IMRAN

Negotiating with the Dead', the winner of the Pembroke Players Playwriting Competition 2023, and Corpus Playroom Week 5 Lateshow, is looking for an actor to play IMRAN! We are particularly interested in receiving auditions from BAME and Muslim actors for this role. Auditions will be next Wednesday 16th and Friday 18th (location tbc).

I can’t live for the dead. The cross is covered in blood, for crying out loud – I won’t live for this.

'Negotiating With The Dead' (Week 5 Corpus Lateshow) is looking for an actor to play Imran! We are particularly looking for a Muslim/POC actor for this role.

Imran is a beating heart at the centre of this play, and we are so excited to be auditioning for this role! In a play about people grappling with the abuse of religion by institutions, Imran embodies the ways in which faith can be beautiful - kind, forgiving, supportive, part of building a community. Absolutely no experience is required, so come along whether it is your tenth or first Cambridge audition, and join our political satire!

Auditions will be next Wednesday and Friday, with a drop-in session on Wednesday, but if you can't make these times, we will also be accepting self-tapes until Saturday 19th of October! LOCATIONS CONFIRMED: We will be hosting auditions on Wednedsay in the Pavillion Meeting Room in Newnham College, and the Old Labs, Newnham College on Friday! We look forward to seeing you there!
