CASTING CALL for Super8 Short Film (No One Wants to Dance)

Looking for one actor to star in our short film NO ONE WANTS TO DANCE.

NO ONE WANTS TO DANCE is a three-minute short film, shot on a Super8 Camera. One take. No editing. As part of the TakeIn8 Project, of the Cambridge University Film Association.

A shy and reserved student at Cambridge University, overwhelmed by formality and academic pressure, breaks free when a techno beat in the library ignites an impromptu dance journey through the city, disrupting its most hallowed traditions.

Looking for one actor for lead role. All gender identities welcome, no experience with acting, film, or dance necessary.

Note: The actor must have a CUFA Filmmaking Membership by the shooting date to participate in the project.
