AUDITIONS for 1816 @ Camden Fringe

Auditions are NOW OPEN for actors for 1816! 1816: The Year Without A Summer is the Camden Fringe musical for CUMTS, with a run at the Fringe in the summer and hopefully a home run in Michaelmas 2025. When five Romantic authors are trapped inside together for the summer, literary masterpieces are born, relationships crumble, and chaos ensues.

• Fri 21st Mar, 13:00–14:30, Trinity College
• Sat 22nd Mar, 10:00–12:30, Trinity College
• Sun 23rd Mar, 10:30–13:00, Trinity College

Trapped indoors by torrential rain, legendary writers Byron, Percy and Mary Shelley and their friends, Polidori and Claire, search for inspiration by the gloomy Lake Geneva. But things fall apart the longer they are stuck together. Polidori’s diary is brought to life in the 1816: The Year Without a Summer musical.

We are looking for a cast of diverse and passionate actors who will bring their all to make the show the best that it can be! More information, details about the specific roles and how to apply is in the Cast Application Pack below:
