Directors/script editors wanted for Pitch Imperfect!

Pitch Imperfect is a cabaret about growing up trans (yay) and a theatre kid (derogatory), and I am on the hunt for director(s) /script editor(s)  or some magical combination of both to join the dream team :)

This show is about looking back at roles I couldn’t play while growing up closeted and getting involved in theatre in all the ways possible except for actually being on stage playing a girl, as well as looking at the present and the future for my weird ~2ish years on T voice. It'll be silly and fun and I promise the heavier content is compensated for with the comedy of the rest of my chronically-online autistic teenage years.

Zero experience needed and I highly encourage other trans people to apply (pls), especially to direct!! Though please be aware that the show will include discussion of transphobia (esp. from family #lol) and medical transition, so please consider whether engaging with all ~that~ for a month or so is okay with you!

Director :
Someone (or multiple someones!) to help make sure the show flows and my rambling is funny/moving rather than boring you to sleep. Ideally involved throughout the rehearsal process but I’m also open to you coming in when the show is closer to finished and helping polish!

Script Editor(s) :
Helping to refine the script, making sure it’s tight and (once again) my ramblings are all somewhat relevant. The bulk of this should be done before we get into term fully since I’d obvs want to be rehearsing it then, but things may end up being reworked again if they don’t hit as well aloud as on paper.

2. Have you done any work like this before? (No worries if not – I’ve never written anything like this so…)

I am very flexible on these two roles so if you’d be interested in combining them then definitely say so!!
