Prod Team applications OPEN for Clare's May Week production of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM

Fairies. Lovers. Betrayal. Hermia wants Lysander, Demetrius wants Hermia, Helena wants Demetrius. It’s complicated. Our Dream is bursting full of life, staged around the iconic pond of Clare’s sunken garden. We're looking to gather a full production team for the 2025 Clare May Week production of A Midsummer Night's Dream! Available roles: Producer , Assistant Director , Welfare Officer, Intimacy Co-ordinator, Stage Manager , Musical Director , Movement Director , Set Designer , Publicity Designer , Costume Designer , Props Designer

Athens lures the audience into our tale as we watch Theseus and Hippolyta (the Proper English Couple™) squabbling at a garden party, the fairyland emerges as the typical British garden party loses its frigid restraint and gets closer to a punky festival setting. The play questions - what happens when we let our protective propriety slip away? The themes at the core of the play are those of transformation, duality, and the fickle winds of fate which blow our lives into shape...

We want this to be a fun experience to end the academic year on a high, as well as a creatively satisfying one, as cast and crew collaborate to explore, create and ultimately play with this perennially captivating script.
