15:00, Fri 18th June 2010 at Cambridge Union Debating Chamber
Easter May Week
The Union debating chamber becomes the ideal venue for Gilbert & Sullivan's wickedly funny miniature satire of the British legal system. Legal hijinks take the stand in a courtroom where the jury must decide the outcome of the flirtatious Angelina's lawsuit against the charming rogue Edwin for breaking off their engagement. Featuring a gleefully amoral judge, a silver-tongued lawyer, and of course the ever-present threat of Substantial Damages, anything could happen when the jury returns its verdict in this classic battle of the sexes!
